HOW TO SAFE YOUR LOGO DESIGN FROM DESTRUCTION?

Designing a logo is no less than a task. You have to go through many ups and downs while creating it for your brand. Thousands of questions should be made while designing and find their answers in an appropriate way and less time. As it will be creating your brand’s identity, and your audience and to be customers are going to recognize your brand through it, so making it best from every aspect should be in your bucket list. While working on the right design for the brand, there are so many questions that take place. And among them comes is how to save your design from the drawbacks. After all who likes destruction? And to avoid them already precautions should be necessarily taken. So, here are some of the things that you should do and should not do!

1. KEEP IT READABLE: While designing our logo, we all are so caught up, in our thought of making it something unique and stunning that we usually forget the purpose behind it. When they recommend you to keep it simple, it means it should be something very easy for the audience to digest or understand. If your logo is complicated none of the customers could read it nor does their friends or family that means it completely failed to even spread the message of your brand.

2. NEVER DICTATE YOUR IMAGINATIONS: Whatever we imagine is undoubtedly very beautiful, these imaginations can't be implicated in the designs as well. Suppose if your brand name is “Tree” so adding the image of Tree instead of the letter T might sound interesting but in reality, this will not do wonders. What if customers mistake the tree as a casual image and read it “REE” neglecting the T? This thing will completely ruin your purpose behind it. If you're going with the idea of typography, never make the letters too complicated to understand or imaginative as every single person does not have a mind like ours.

3. SHOULD BE SCALABLE: No offense, your buy custom logo is only designed for the sake of boards, to be pasted on the products, or on the shopping bags. But we never know what is beyond us. What if the success came us in the middle unpredictably, then marketing strategies will develop? And we might have to put it on one billboard, business cards, and on many other mediums for the sake of marketing. So, is our logo design capable to be printed on any other mediums? It should be and if it won’t then you might end up making a new design but recognizing it will not be easy for your audience. It should be designed in such a way that it is not affected when printed on any form of medium neither does its pixels get affected.

4. DON’T MAKE IT LOOK EXACT LIKE YOUR COMPETITORS: When we step into the market as a fresher in any field, one thing that we look up to and check up on is our competitors. Among those competitors, we shortlist some of them and take them as our inspiration. Some of the businessmen get so inspired by the opposite party that they start to copy them unintentionally. So, make sure your logo does not look like your competitors, not even a single element. It can't be stressed enough that single to slightest changes does not count, and you should also know that. So, there’s nothing wrong in getting inspired but copying them from any aspect will bring destruction to your career.

5. SKETCH YOUR DESIGN ON THE NOTEPAD: Never start to design your logo on the screen directly because that’s honestly not a good thing to do. There is a huge difference between something created from hands and on the screen. So, when you are about to start designing, carry a sketchpad in your bag and write down the ideas abstracted from any corner of this world. Shortlist them and start drawing them on the notepad. Sketch it down with all the details and then switch it to on the screens, This way your design will scream professionalism as it is the technique of professional designers.

6. DON’T MAKE IT TOO COMPLICATED: Keep in mind that this a design that represents a brand, not scenery. Adding more than two colors will make it complicated, and complex. Two colors themselves are too much to be used. Just like that, don’t use typography that is too complicate and difficult to understand, don’t add drop shadows or extended names as these things will make it complicated. These complicated designs never make the heads turn over the crowd that is quite a backlash.

CONCLUSION: These are some tips which can help your customize logo from the destruction. The one mentioned above should be followed, as they bring a visible change in your designing skills and the outcome as well. As the first impression is the last and it counts in one of the firsts so to make it look amazing without any destruction is everyone’s desire.
